HP Pavilion a1330n, Windows Vista Drivers

Last night I tried to install Windows Vista Ultimate Edition on my friends’s HP Pavilion a1330n (HP Pavilion Media Center a1330n Desktop PC) everything went right after I update the windows, all drivers were installed except Multimedia Driver (Sound Driver), so after an hour of search I’ve found out (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00496280&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1815825&lang=en) the mainboard is manufacture by ASUS (I hate HP and HP’s website it does not contains any driver for this computer on any windows) and the model is A8AE-LE (AmberineM) but also ASUS does not have any drivers for this mainboard (so I hate ASUS too) I just found out that the sound is AC97 audio (AC’97 audio / Realteck) so I searched for this and WOW http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false there is Windows Vista Driver for AC’97 Realteck Sound, so I installed it and everything is good.

But before he buy this piece of shxx from HP, I told him to buy a DELL PC, if it was DELL driver would not be that hard to find!!!

  1. Hey man, thanks a lot for putting this up! I searched all over for the audio drivers for my a1330n for Vista. Can you tell me what other drivers you installed and tell me where to get them?

Actually, I’m looking for a driver that will enable my keyboard to use its mutlimedia keys like eject buttons, play, pause, and volume controls
